I’ve thought of making a super set of JavaScript called TestScript which enforces TDD (not allowing compilation of code which doesn’t have a unit test) and the tests are colocares in the same file with each function/module/class

Well sort of the point of the tip would be to not use getcomponent here. You just make the type of your prefab in the script to your testscript and then instantiate will return the type.
