MaterialCombiner使えたらよかったけど、マッピングでサイズ変更していた場合それが反映されなくなっちゃう そのためにあらかじめベイクするなら最初からTextools使った方がいいし……

Textoolsでベイク→バックアップ取ってから新規マテリアルに設定が今のところ第一候補だけど、普通に手間だしそれなら今まで通りクリスタでやるのがいいってなる

i mean ... you could use textools to be on the "safe side"
but ... one wrong thing with textools (because hardmodding) and you need to repair the entire game which probably leads to a 150gb download ... have fun with that if you have slow internet ^^.
plugins stay forbidden tho.

Oh my god yeah lmao I remember collabing once with an old friend and she gave me her entire mod list and what she was wearing.. I had to download so much crap THEN put it all in textools. I was like 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

It was /all/ there was. I remember when TexTools appeared and suddenly we could do non-destructive modding. At first, we couldn't alter models, it was all texture modding, as well.

i started playing ( modding) ffxiv before dalamud was the main mod loader and majority of people exclusively used textools but i am curious what ffxiv modding looked like prior to even textools?
