Hopefully this weekend is a full circle moment that finally puts dialog about #ThatSlap to rest, but I'll repeat that while I don't think Will was right (although I understand) the *timing* of it all made it very easy for Chris's pattern of targeting Jada to get conflated..
"Will does almost every role with his shirt off! You won't ever see me with my shirt off."
Chris's last big press run before #ThatSlap was alot of talk about how he was stronger and more muscular at 55 than he's ever been in his life.
I just realized what's wrong:
A LOT of Chris's sets are usually talking shit about celebrities.
He can't DO THAT right now, bc of the underlying issues behind #thatslap, which leaves him with Rob Kardashian, OJ Simpson and Michael Jackson.
This was written without ignoring the fact that the joke was poor taste it was done repeatedly. I get the anger, but both should have done things differently.
