Let's start with the founders. 1️⃣ Kain Warwick Kain Warwick is the founder of Synthetix, an Ethereum-based decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that enables the issuance and trading of a wide range of synthetic assets. He was also the co-founder and CEO of blueshyft, a retail payment network with over 1,200 branches across Australia. blueshyft has grown to become the largest cryptocurrency payment gateway in Australia, processing tens of millions of dollars in transaction volume. 2️⃣ Egor Sidelska Egor Sidelska is a co-founder and director of Magnet Capital, an Australian-based cryptocurrency managed investment fund. He has many years of experience in blockchain and finance, and plays a key role in investment management and strategic operations. 3️⃣ Jed Watson Jed Watson is the co-founder of Thinkmill, a software development and design studio. He is known for developing open source projects such as KeystoneJS, react-select, and classnames, and has collaborated with Atlassian to help build Atlaskit. He is also actively involved in the community as a co-organizer of ReactSydney. With the team's Australian connection and strong background, I think they'll do a great job building Defi.
