🎄It's day 22 of the
#ChristmasWithKenjiAndChesnyy #CharityAdvent Countdown! We're almost at our Christmas Eve finale!
Today, we're shining a light on Threads of Life, a vital Canadian charity supporting families shattered by workplace tragedies—fatalities, life-altering injuries, or occupational diseases.
Every year in Canada, about 1,000 workers lose their lives on the job, leaving thousands of loved ones to navigate profound grief, emotional turmoil, and financial hardship alone. Threads of Life steps in with compassionate, peer-led support:
•One-on-one mentoring from trained volunteer Family Guides who've walked the same path
•Online workshops & webinars for practical coping tools and community connection
•In-person regional gatherings to build networks and share strategies
•Speaker programs reaching over 10,000 people annually to promote prevention
Last year alone, 439 families found hope through their forums and workshops, powered by 350 dedicated volunteers.
In this season of family and reflection, let's honor those affected and help prevent future losses. Your support makes healing possible. Learn more & donate:

Thank you again to everyone who likes these posts and shares them. It not only helps boost them in the algorithm and gets them a bit more visibility this time of year, but it also might help connect someone in need of their services or looking for a place to volunteer. And a special woof of appreciation to our online friends who have chipped in to help with our donations. Our budget is really small and I put aside a few dollars every month for this project. The extra support means instead of 10 dollar donations, we're able to give bigger gifts to all 24 organizations. I really do have the best followers out there.
Merry Woofmas everyone!
