The timberHP is about 2/3 the price of comparable Rockwool... I am impressed with it so far... It also doesn't make me itch like the Rockwool does.. win/win.

I was honored to receive the Advocate for American Business award from the @USChamber during our tour of TimberHP today. While the real credit for any business’s success goes to its entrepreneurs and workers, I’ve been glad to work across the aisle to support them in Congress.

I've been eager for concrete-free slabs on grade but thoughts on products for use below grade? That aren't foam?
22
yes. slabs and basements are responsible for a huge % of C02 in most new buildings.

When I discovered wood fiber insulation a couple of years ago, I quickly became a big fan and proponent of it. It's sustainable, moisture-resistant, mold-resistant, made of renewable resources and more. While it's widely used across Europe, it's not as popular in the States. TIMBERHP is on a mission to change that! They've opened the first US manufacturing plant in Maine, in an old paper mill. Check out my conversation with their building scientist, Jason Todd, to learn more about the company and their products! youtu.be/3LEdx083Dzo?si=CgCY…

The president's economic agenda is at its best when it's focused on America-first policies that support US-based production, manufacturing and jobs. It can often support environmental goals, e.g. TimberHP, which uses wood pulp to create sustainable and carbon-neutral products.
