I’m sharing these X-rays because they show what Katie has actually been living with all this time. This isn’t just hip pain. Katie’s hip socket is too shallow. Her femur is twisted. Her pelvis is rotated. And now she also has a labral tear. Her leg is about 2cm shorter than the other. All of this means her hip isn’t sitting safely where it should be. We were told this week that things are now time-critical. Her hip could actually pop if this isn’t treated soon. For years Katie was told to keep going. To manage. To wait.
