Such a grand discovery: Leftover mapo tofu as a sauce for fresh-made egg noodles. We've done this a few times, and now we always make sure to make more mapo tofu than we're likely to eat in one sitting.

The last nuggets of lamb shoulder from @EatMeaty, braised a few days ago, were the basis of tonight's cavatelli with green olives. Too many elements in the sauce to rehearse on line, but I was gratified by our friend's praise. (It really was delicious.)
