i def liked the interlude musically, but it felt odd to include. in an intentionally tracklisted album, an interlude would signal some sonic or thematic shift but it’s followed by the title (which is also in a weird place, there’s a reason titles are usually the 1st/2nd track)

Ngl in hindsight like I’ve been saying is that shit should’ve been tracklisted wayyyyy better and some of them songs could’ve been took off but it ain’t a BAD album but 1am in Albany, Freeze The world, and supermaxx paint a very clear picture

Albums are tracklisted in order on purpose. There’s usually a story being told, even if it isn’t a concept album.

Kendrick just went on a SOLD OUT worldwide STADIUM tour. YES Bad bunny is bigger but slightly. If Kendrick dropped music at the same clip and inflated tracklisted albums the streaming numbers would be more comparable

Sort of but not really. It existed as a folder of demos/leftover songs and ideas, but it wasn’t any kind of officially tracklisted/finished and mixed or mastered thing. Id consider what we know of “Act 2” to just be rough unfinished tracks leftover from Act 1 tbh

@Raekwon, GFK & RZA team up for a work of art that influences hip hop music to this day. The Wu learned well from Kool G Rap’s Live & Let Die. Regardless of the credits, RZA tracklisted this as a DUO album, as evidenced by the next post.
