ESMA updated the guidelines on transfer of data between Trade Repositories under EMIR and SFTR and also updated the list of CCPs established in a third-country that have been recognised to offer services and activities in the Union.

Archegos TOTAL EXPOSURE was KNOWN by regulators through mandated #OTCreporting to #TradeRepositories but not by the individual prime brokers who were being gamed by Archegos. Is it possible that regulators failed their Prime Brokers?
