At Heathrow, inclusion isn’t just a value – it’s an action. This November, we celebrated Trans Awareness Month, standing proudly with our trans and non-binary colleagues and communities.
Thank you to our organisers, Heathrow’s Proud LGBTQIA Network, and everyone who joined us in learning and showing support. Some highlights of the month included:
✅ A Lunch & Learn with Bob Hughes (he/him) Partnerships Manager and former listening volunteer at Switchboard, the national LGBTQIA support line, to share insights on how we can all be better allies.
🏳️⚧️ We raised the Transgender flag in Terminals T4 and T2 during
#TransAwarenessWeek to increase visibility in a visual way.
🖊️ An inspiring article by Isabel Chapman (They/Them), a Future Leaders Graduate, on being non-binary at Heathrow (Read a short overview here:

In a world where many still face misunderstanding or invisibility, raising awareness is not just about education it’s about fostering a culture where everyone feels seen, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves.
Together, we’re building a workplace where everyone can thrive 💜
