I appreciate @TaskandPurpose @JSchogol73030 bringing this to attention, but something has got to be done. It should not be this hard to ensure serivce members are fed. To be clear this isn't an issue just at McGregor but other installations as well. The reviews here are just within the last week or so. "The nearest DFAC is over a mile away and limited TransLoc van service means there is no reliable transportation to reach it." "Soldiers on Caserma Ederle are charged for DFAC access, yet on weekends the one on base is closed, forcing those without vehicles to pay out of pocket to eat on base, buy groceries or travel to Del Din just to eat" "The closest DFAC is a 90 minute round trip if you don’t have a car."
Soldiers at New Mexico base say they are missing meals due to long lines trib.al/rjLxymI

My only big problem with her kit rn is how much downtime we have when playing her They need to separate invis from transloc again. Even though I like virus, it would probably go away for this change, but increasing her dmg elsewhere to compensate

Current Status: The university will reopen Monday, Feb. 9. SAFETY We continue to focus on safety as our top priority with our crews having focused on academic buildings, housing areas and main thoroughfares to ensure these high-traffic spaces are ready for our community’s return on Monday. As you return, you’ll notice debris piles and ongoing cleanup work across campus. We ask that you please be patient and mindful of posted closures and work zones as this work is expected to continue over the coming weeks. Below are current updates and guidance on roads and work areas in order to help our crews continue revitalizing the campus safely and efficiently. These updates will change as work progresses. - -The South Campus Rail Trails remain closed for ongoing debris removal. - Rowan Oak and its grounds, including Bailey Woods Trail, are temporarily closed for tree pruning and debris removal operations. - The Circle will only be available to ADA and reserved permit holders. - You will see barricades and an increased presence of campus law enforcement and security. Please be respectful and follow their directions. - Parking spaces along the Grove side of University Ave. between the welcome center and Ventress Hall will not be available. - The Campus Walk Trail between Campus Walk Apartments and campus is open, and you are encouraged to use caution and avoid debris piles. If needed, consider using the Hathorn route OUT bus services, which goes from Campus Walk to Campus Creek to Observatory. - Due to ongoing debris removal, additional temporary closures will be needed including parking lots or other areas. - Parking lot permit holders in any areas that need to be temporarily closed will be given 48-hour notice as well as alternative parking locations. - To help give our recovery teams the space they need to work safely and diligently, campus members are encouraged to utilize OUT buses (download the TransLoc app) or consider carpooling. ACADEMICS The university worked with the U.S. Department of Education to adjust the academic calendar for the Spring Semester, allowing for a shortened semester due to the two weeks the university was closed because of the impacts of Winter Storm Fern. This approval enables the university to maintain Spring Break, March 7–15 and conclude the semester as originally scheduled. Please see other notable dates from the academic calendar: - Feb. 16: Course add/drop (modified, administrator approval required)* - Feb. 16: Attendance Verification deadline (modified) - March 7–15: Spring Break - March 16: Midterm exam grades due (modified) - Mar. 20: Withdrawal date (modified) - April 3: Good Friday holiday - May 1: Classes end - May 4 to 8: Final Examinations - May 9: Commencement Convocation (Individual school/program ceremonies may be scheduled on this date or on the days before or after May 9.) *Note that the system is currently programmed so that courses can only be added or dropped with administrator approval (chair or dean). This will be possible until Feb. 16 (1 week after campus reopens), as communicated earlier. We also have a shortened “First Spring Semester.” For courses offered during this shortened semester at the first part of the spring, the following information will apply. For First Spring Semester 2026, the semester will conclude as originally scheduled. Please see other notable dates from the academic calendar: - March 4: Classes end - March 5-6: Final Examinations SERVICES Unless otherwise noted, all campus operations return to regular schedules on Monday, Feb. 9. - Today, Sunday, Feb. 8, Dining Services resumed regular operations in all locations, including meal card swipes. - OUT buses will resume campus routes Monday, Feb. 9.
