This image is from my first visit to a trans makeover studio and it was the very first time my exterior ever matched the femininity I feel inside of me every day since I was a small child.
Many young #transgender people face violence, exclusion, discrimination and bullying in schools, seriously impacting their health, education and life-trajectory. Schools should be safe & inclusive for everyone β #trans youth included! #TransVisibilityWeek
#Trans people face high levels of violence & discrimination, but rarely have access to justice. Lack of investigations, abuse from officials, and impunity for perpetrators are common. Everyone should have access to justice β trans people included! #TransVisibilityWeek
Due to violence, discrimination and social exclusion, #transgender people experience worse mental health outcomes than their peers, with high rates of self-harm & suicide. Mental health support should be available for everyone β #trans people included! #TransVisibilityWeek
