Passengers reportedly clashed with Chisco staff after a frustrating trip from Owerri to Lagos 😳 According to a woman on the bus, passengers were forced to run after the vehicle after it allegedly moved before everyone was seated. [4:45AM] #IkoroduRd #OjotaBridge #IncidentReport A 20 ft loaded container truck reportedly suffered brake failure and mechanical malfunction while reversing at the above location. During the incident, the vehicle was struck by a Mack 33,000-litre loaded tanker, leading to the spillage of its volatile contents on the bridge. Consequently, both articulated trucks became interlocked, resulting in a complete blockage of all access roads from Ikorodu Road under Ojota Bridge towards Old Toll Gate. LASTMA Rescue and Recovery Team has been deployed to the scene for vehicle evacuation and traffic management. The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service team have done the needful by spraying chemicals on the spilled volatile contents to prevent any possible fire outbreak. All vehicular movement from Maryland, New Garage, and Ojota has been redirected to the expressway towards Ketu, with motorists advised to make a U-turn at Mile 12 and reconnect through the service lane by Ketu Market towards Old Toll Gate to continue their journey to their respective destinations. This is the exact carrier from yesterday's call with @TimothyDooner listening - TENO SYSTEMS INC (MC1737095 / USDOT 4419045). They stole & held 3 loads hostage from one of our broker customers. Demands were made by "carrier". All 3 loads recovered from nearby transload facilities in Orlando area without carrier's knowledge. Yesterday, they tried impersonating another carrier to steal a 4th load - broker caught it. On the speaker call (@TimothyDooner heard it live), the carrier admitted: transloading, using other carriers on previous loads, and more. Claimed "drivers afraid of ICE". Authority pending revocation. Suspect overseas ops despite PA address. Follow-up call scheduled today with me, carrier and broker. But we have more planned beyond that.
