Today I attended the 112th Anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Fire with my Worker Protection colleagues.
This tragedy was a pivotal moment in our state's history and spurred the labor and worker's rights movement โ and each year it reminds us just how important our work is.
Remembering that today is the 112th anniversary of the #Trianglefactoryfire -- 1 of the worst disasters in US #workplace#history. Nearly 150 people died b/c laws didn't require safety protections. It took #unions to get safer working conditions
