🚨 OFICIAL! FIFA retira árbitro somali Omar Artan da Copa do Mundo após ele ser impedido de entrar nos Estados Unidos.
“A FIFA confirma que o árbitro Omar Abdulkadir Artan não poderá treinar nem atuar na Copa do Mundo 2026 após ter sua entrada nos Estados Unidos negada. A FIFA não se envolve nos processos de imigração dos países sedes, incluindo concessões de vistos, e foi informada pelas autoridades que a situação do Sr. Artan não será alterada neste momento”, afirmou a entidade.
De acordo com Ciise Aden Abshir, assessor do Ministério da Juventude e Esportes da Somália, o árbitro possui visto válido.
Artan foi eleito Árbitro do Ano pela Confederação Africana de Futebol (CAF) em 2025.
