The park is now closed for the 2025 season.
The park will reopen on May 1st, 2026.

The water was nice today in Port Dover. The wind was a bit cool though. It was nicer to stay neck deep in the water. An hour later we went to Turkey Point and it was dead calm and the water about the same. Nice finish to my swimming season. 😎 #LakeErie #PortDover #TurkeyPoint

The water was warmer than I expected at Turkey Point today. My guess was 66F or ~18.9C. Whatever it was it was refreshing on nice warm sunny day. I wasn’t in a hurry to get out. #Swimming #TurkeyPoint #LakeErie

We were at Turkey Point this afternoon and the water was warm. Maybe 78F? We weren’t at the provincial park, but in front of the cottages near the marina. It’s very shallow there, so the water is bound to be a bit warmer. #TurkeyPoint #LakeErie

Where is the OPP marine unit? This goes on just about every afternoon from about 4:30 - 5:00. There are often two of them trying to impress or maybe terrorize people. It’s worse later in the week when there are lots of people. #TurkeyPoint
