@EastMidRailway Regarding last night's Cancellation of 1R88 from Norwich,this was a truly,truly awful decision needs fully investigating at a high level. Inward 1L13 terminated at Ely 43 late,but with a 1 hour turnround at Norwich,this is the last train of the day from Norwich!

Aye,it was 40 late but with a 1 hour turnround at Norwich! Even throwing in a Crew break it could have left Norwich 15 late probably made most of time up by Peterborough. In the middle of day fair enough,but this is the last EMR departure from Norwich,appalling decision!

Been up since 0330 I don't travel well long distance by car,would probably end up being sick. The last train of the day from Norwich-Nottingham should never be Cancelled,it was terminated at Ely 40 late on it's way in despite having a 60 min turnround at Norwich!

It was a lie. Going faster would save less than two minutes. Saying it's needed to recover the timetable is another HS2 lie especially if the timetable allows 30 minute turnround.

With this thing, I am sensing 'we must do something, and this is something!' 320kph would put 2 minutes onto a journey, which doesn't sound much but it means 4 minutes off the turnround time. That's quite enough to demand an extra train in circuit to Curzon St.

I totally understand how it looks but it's not as straightforward. It's not just the turnround time that's at play here - there's an increased number of trains running to Victoria, so if this train is running out of it's "pathway" then it will be causing a knock-on 1/
