I ❤️ Austin’s music scene! For the past few years, I have made it a point to take my son to a concert every year. His 1st was @iHeartCountry Festival. We sat near the side of the stage & could wave to artist before they went on stage! @baileyzimmerman was his favorite from that show so we ended up seeing him the following year at the White Water Amphitheater in New Braunfels (Highly Recommend this venue!) We ended up doing back to back IHeart County and reminisced with Rascal Flatts’ “Life is a Highway” from the 200x we watched the movie Cars, but for this year we hit up @twostepinn While the 1st day poured rain & we missed his much anticipated Brooks & Dunn, Chris Stapleton made up for it! We haven’t hit high school yet, but I realize that we only have a few years before he goes off in the world on his own, so I might as well build traditions and shared experiences now so I can get him (and probably his friends) to come back home in the future! #austintx #austin

Good luck man!! Went the first three years, lessons learned! Crowd, weather, organization, amongst other things. Glad hubs and I skipped out this year! Honestly think the festival needs to be held in a different month completely!! April’s weather sucks!
