روند سبز افغانستان به رهبری امرالله صالح از تصمیم سازمان ملل متحد برای کنار گذاشتن عنوان «مقام‌های حاکم» یا «دفاکتو» در اشاره به طالبان استقبال کرده و آن را تغییری مهم در نحوه برخورد جامعه جهانی با این گروه دانسته است. روند سبز افغانستان امروز (دوشنبه) در واکنش به این اقدام اعلام کرده است که سازمان ملل متحد از این پس در اسناد و مکاتبات خود به جای استفاده از عنوان «مقام‌های حاکم» یا «دفاکتو»، طالبان را با نام این گروه مورد خطاب قرار خواهد داد. این جریان سیاسی این تغییر را گامی مثبت توصیف کرده و گفته که استفاده از نام طالبان به جای عناوینی که به باور آن می‌توانست نوعی مشروعیت‌بخشی تلقی شود، بازتاب‌دهنده ماهیت واقعی این گروه است. روند سبز همچنین مدعی شده است که طالبان از منظر این جریان سیاسی، قابلیت اصلاح یا تغییر بنیادین را ندارند و جامعه جهانی باید توجه بیشتری به خواست و مطالبات مردم افغانستان در قبال آینده سیاسی کشور داشته باشد. این جریان در ادامه خواستار افزایش حمایت‌های بین‌المللی از مردم افغانستان و اتخاذ رویکردی جدی‌تر در قبال تحولات سیاسی کشور شده است. نصیر احمد اندیشه، سفیر افغانستان در جنیوا می‌گوید در پیش‌نویس تمدید ماموریت یوناما، به پیشنهاد امریکا، بریتانیا و فرانسه، عبارت «حاکمان بالفعل افغانستان» برای طالبان حذف شده و به‌جای آن «مقام‌های ذی‌ربط» آمده است. شورای امنیت سازمان ملل پیش از این در اسناد رسمی خود از طالبان با عنوان «حاکمان بالفعل افغانستان» یاد می‌کرد؛ عبارتی که به باور بسیاری از ناظران، می‌توانست زمینه‌ساز مشروعیت‌بخشی تدریجی حقوقی به این گروه باشد. #ABN #UNAMA #Afghanistan #UnitedNations #Taliban

I consider the continuation of the UNAMA mission in Afghanistan to be in the interest of the Afghan people. UNAMA should further strengthen its efforts in promoting human rights, protecting women’s rights, expanding education, increasing humanitarian assistance, and supporting national dialogue and understanding. It should also work effectively to safeguard the human rights of all people in Afghanistan, so that UNAMA’s activities become even more impactful and beneficial for the Afghan people.
