Standing at the top of the podium, UTP finished ahead of the University of Manchester (UK) and the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (India) in this integrated geoscience and petroleum engineering competition. UTP emerged as the national champion in two categories: 🏆 Kurikulum Program Pengajian Inovatif Led by Dr. Dzeti Farhah Binti Mohshim (Petroleum Engineering Department), the MSc in Drilling Engineering (by coursework) programme was recognised for its unique design and strong industry collaboration with partners such as PETRONAS, Velesto, Rhazes, and others in developing a first-of-its-kind programme in the region. We are proud to announce that Dr Norwahyu Jusoh from UTP’s Department of Chemical Engineering has been honoured with the Outstanding Asian Researcher and Engineer Award by the Society of Chemical Engineers, Japan (SCEJ).
