The My life, my genetics project is an informative series on genetics and relationships filmed by young people for young people. Five young people living with rare disease has taken part in this series to help make information about genetics more accessible for young people who want to learn about how their rare disease can impact their genetics. The series starts with a video around the Illumina lab to help us understand the genetic process. Each member then created a video explaining genetic inheritance, genetic counselling, family planning, prenatal and newborn screening.
