On Tuesday, ACLU-WI staff gave a presentation to UW-Milwaukee students during the Inclusive Excellence Center's #Undocuweek about how to engage legislators on bills that expand opportunities for DACA recipients.

Thank you to @PackUndocu for inviting me to their panel as part of Undocuweek. Undocuweek is meant to recognize and celebrate the undocumented community at the @unevadareno, and I had the pleasure to meet and speak with many students about how to keep them safe and included on our campus. #GoPack

Thank you so much to Allie Rojas from SMCA for having us join as a part of UndocuWeek and to all of the fabulous @umassboston professors who had us join their classes today. Nearly 100 students signed up to get involved with SCIJ!!
Attendees will participate in specialized workshops tailored to our students, campus, and region, with a focus on identifying and utilizing appropriate resources to provide culturally sensitive support.

Next week, MIRA's very own Policy Advocate, Jonathan Paz @pazforwaltham will be a guest speaker for @umb_smca 2nd Annual UndocuWeek Celebration at UMass Boston, organized by Student Multicultural Affairs (SMCA) and in collaboration with U-ACCESS.
This week is UndocuWeek at the University! Throughout the week, there will be events, resource fairs, socials, and more across campus to celebrate the experiences of undocumented individuals.
