Fear
Fear creeps in when we feel trapped in our body, our mind, or a small version of reality—like we’re cut off from something bigger.
It’s the illusion that we’re limited, weak, or alone.
But what if fear is just a nudge, reminding us who we really are?

We are not the body, nor the mind—those are just temporary vessels, tools we experience the world through. Our true essence is infinite energy, a boundless force that flows through everything, connecting us to the universe itself. When we forget this, fear takes hold, whispering stories like “I’m not enough” or “I can’t handle this.” Yet, those are just shadows cast by a false sense of separation.
Fear doesn’t need to be fought—it needs to be heard.
Ask yourself: “What am I afraid of losing?” Often, it’s just an idea of who you think you are. Let it go.
Take a deep breath and feel your body as a bridge, not a cage. Each breath links you to the vast energy of the universe. You’re not small; you’re infinite, a spark of the same force that moves the stars. When you lean into this truth, fear becomes a passing cloud, not a storm that owns you.
One powerful way to face fear, is through Ujjayi Pranayama, a yoga breathing technique that’s like an anchor in a storm. Ujjayi, often called “ocean breath,” or “psychic breath”, involves slow, rhythmic inhales and exhales through the nose with a gentle constriction in the throat, creating a soft, wave-like sound. It stimulates the vagus nerve, which relaxes your nervous system, clears mental fog, and grounds you in the moment.
Practicing Ujjayi for just a few minutes before stepping on stage can transform anxiety into presence, letting your infinite essence shine through.
