Can someone explain to me what TABs $TAH "risk appetite" is? Just the losing punters who fall for addiction you prey on? How can the Aus Gov sit there and allow Australia's hallmark bookmaker since 1994 to prey and undermine those without an edge? Offering hospitality packages to a degenerate because of their losses is legal? Whats next, pokie machines can send you a text saying the jackpot is due soon? People are responsible for their own finances but to allow a publicly registered company to siphon out anyone with 0.1% chance of turning over a long term profit is outrageous. I can't even fathom how corrupt this is. The VGCCC has no leg to stand on either, no other alternative for escalation. No justice for punters. If you haven't already, check out @bookiewatchdog . Lets make this viral, try push for some change in legislation or a regulator who can stop this abuse of power. I mean at least they're honest and saying they can't handle the winners but anyone who has profited already knows this.

Read below and tell me why you wouldn't short Tabcorp on the ASX. Miss by 1 reduced to Thursday and Friday (See image). Arguably the last magnet promotion punters enjoyed for our countries greatest game. Relentless freezing of user funds - Danny Russel presents three gentleman who are barely winning (if at all), having accounts abruptly frozen with no suspicious activity to back TAB claims. This is just the tip of the iceberg. smh.com.au/sport/racing/fobb… Victorias Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC) essentially have zero authority to assist punters. See Danny Russells above article. Gambling advertising being restricted with plans for a removal in entirety. Margins continue to be handed down to punters. betting into 130% markets for Australia thoroughbred racing. Four Corners exposing the lack of regulation, highlighting the conflicts of interest, lack of funding, key directors accepting hospitality from bookmaker giants, shared race horse ownership with some of the nations largest bookmaker owners. Where did it really all go wrong? How do these agencies keep getting away with this? Saving the bottom of the barrel for last. The outrageous targeting of female punters they engage with. I have had female friends try verify an account at a TAB venue but are asked for License, Passport, Birth Certificates, tax receipts and utility bills. You name it, they'll ask for it but only if your female? A man can simply show his license and complete the form. Either way, looking at Dannys Russells "Phobbed Off" article, its a lengthy process to have these reopened. Take me back to the days with a 3 leg SGM multi promotions for all AFL, NBA, NRL, NFL, EPL games. The only agency who hasn't hidden and abused AML regulation, segregation of male and female customers, excessive verification requests is Sportsbet. Even they are hanging by a thread. Barely any offerings there. They are well and truly carried by some brilliant marketing. @bookiewatchdog

News/Profile via Grok Crown Melbourne, also known as Crown Casino and Entertainment Complex, is a premier integrated resort located on the south bank of the Yarra River in Melbourne, Australia. Here are some key points about Crown Melbourne: History and Scale: It was initially opened in 1994 on the north bank of the Yarra River but relocated to its current location in 1997. Covering 510,000 square meters, it's one of the largest casino complexes in the world and the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Facilities: Crown Melbourne includes three hotels - Crown Towers, Crown Metropol, and Crown Promenade. These hotels offer various levels of luxury accommodations, with Crown Towers being particularly noted for its luxury and having been awarded the Forbes Travel Guide's five-star rating for multiple years. Recent Developments: In November 2024, Crown Melbourne was preparing for a 2027 review of its casino license by the Victorian Gambling and Casino Control Commission (VGCCC), which also took significant disciplinary actions against gambling licensees in the 2023-2024 period. The Victorian Government has introduced new gambling regulations, including mandatory pre-commitment limits and carded-play systems, which Crown Melbourne is already implementing.
