This is the first time I'll be using Agent Skills for build on any Network. I bumped into this setup scrolling the TL and decided to try creating a simple game on the @base network. Here: base-ping-pong-peach.vercel.… This is my second app on Base Network. The first: baselyt.vercel.app Here is how I did all of this in less than 10mins: 1. Install the skill directly on your powershell/CMD terminal. I use visual studios I.e Vscodes. npx skills install base/skills -g 2. Accept all prompts by clicking Enter Keypad. 3. Use the Github co-pilot to execute prompts. You can use Codex, Claude, Antigravity etc. Once skills is install it propagates globally. 4. Push to Github. 5. Deploy on Vercel or Netlify or buy custom domain. 6. Goto dashboard.base.org and register the app. 7. Be sure to input the Meta Name that carries your app ID and add your deployed domain url. 8. Look for your builder code in the settings and add the string to your app. I'll be trying out other Agent Skills eg GenLayer and @arc. I like this. Let me know if you bump into issues. PS: If your Git Bash is outdated it can cause issues with your npx skill installation. Good luck 🫡

Is it me only, or does @zeddotdev 's Git panel just look that bad? I have one file here which is staged but also has new changes, it's just so hard to find (the cognitive load is a lot), meanwhile VsCodes Git panel is quite intuitive (maybe familiarity has a huge role, but still)

i hate that vscode craps out on my 4-5 times per week because it's still my favorite ide i'm running 2-3 terminals (dev coding agents) per instance of vscode, and have about 4-5 vscodes (projects) running at once, should be fine on 36gb ram no?

it doesn't make sense to use software made by other people anymore man my own text editor terminal emulator. written from scratch using rust and wgpu in a weekend. no electron/web bloat ~4mb instead of vscodes 500 mb. and fully/easily customizable to what i need with extra prompts. the future is exciting

Funny enough I have been using Obsidian for ages , since 2023 , I have it in my workflow, it became my fulltime app because I was disappointed with dilinger io, vscodes arent useful
how to use obsidian claude code to build a 24/7 personal operating system and build your startup: 1. write everything in markdown (daily notes, projects, beliefs, people, meetings) 2. link your notes together so they mirror how your brain actually thinks. 3. install obsidian cli so claude code can read your entire vault the relationships. 4. stop reexplaining projects every session. use reference files instead. 5. build custom slash commands: /context → load your full life work state /trace → see how an idea evolved over months /connect → bridge two domains you’ve been circling /ideas → generate startup ideas from your vault /graduate → promote daily thoughts into real assets 6. keep a strict rule: human writes the vault. agents read it, suggest, execute. 7. let claude aka clode surface patterns you’ve been unconsciously circling for years. 8. delegate from inside your notes. one sentence in obsidian → agent handles the rest. 9. treat writing as leverage.the more you write, the more context your agents have. 10. understand this:markdown files are the oxygen of llms. i really enjoyed seeing how to use obsidian thanks to @internetvin vin uses ai like a thinking partner wired into his life’s work. 99.99% of people won’t do this because it requires reflection setup. but once the vault exists, the agent stops being generic. it starts thinking in your voice. episode is live on @startupideaspod (more there) this one is different. send this tweet to a friend. im still processing how game changer obsidian claude code is, maybe you too watch

Once you get going with command line it's a dream I was basically just using VSCodes command line the whole time after a while but still paying the resource price...for no reason whatsoever just use plain english in command line and away you go Each time I launch a new task I launch a new instance and I can run as many as I want Currently have 9 running right now

How are you guys handling auth for MCPs within VSCodes current version? I am struggling to see where the auth triggers are for the end user. Cursor is fine, but VSCode either doesn't support it or I've completely missed it

Zed lacks features of VSCode. But it feels smooth to use 😍 One of the essential features I miss is the VSCodes awesome Git UI
