This Saturday, I traveled to Los Banos to meet with the Central Valley Leadership Roundtable—leaders committed to giving a voice to communities too often overlooked. The CVLRT brings together rural elected officials, community leaders, and advocates from across Fresno County and our neighboring counties—many with deep roots in our farming communities. While many in the room identify as Democrats, we all agreed on one thing: the challenges we face transcend political labels. We found common ground in something bigger—Valley values. In combat, you learn quickly—mission first, people always. You fight for everyone. No one gets left behind. That mindset doesn’t belong to one party. It belongs to all of us.
