I didn't see The Rescuers when it was at the cinema, but it *felt* like I had because I constantly played the story & music LP on my battery-powered record player, whilst clicking through the ViewMaster disc of it. I was in my 30s when I finally saw the actual film.

It’s the same with the viewmaster movie. the fact they mentioned the two together in the same sentence implied that they’re part of the same wider project of mattel following barbie that they announced a few years back.

would make more sense than viewmaster, the netflix series is coming out this year or the next, by the time thomas has become relevant again it will be the perfect time to announce and begin filming the movie. my guess is probably late next year or early 2028

I might be wrong but them saying
"It's really early" when describing Viewmaster
and then saying
"We're in the middle of it" with Thomas
you can see where I'm coming from...

The interview acts like viewmaster is their next film but the way they word production on it when compared to Thomas makes it seem like Thomas is the first one being made out of the two
