A lawyer switched off her video and microphone mid-hearing.

When she came back, the judge asked —
“𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥? 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘨𝘰?”
The lawyer calmly replied —
“𝘚𝘪𝘳, 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨,𝘴𝘰 𝘐 𝘮𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘢 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦.”
But the Court didn’t take it lightly.
Justice Tejas Karia immediately stated —
“𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗵𝗶 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘁 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱.”

While appearing for BCCI as a Senior Counsel, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta urged the Bombay High Court to switch from the current software - V Console to WebEx for conducting proceedings virtually.
"This system is a failure. Every court uses WebEx, which is a time tested system. Something needs to be done about this. This system is not working," Tushar Mehta told the judges after he went on and off several times during the hearing.
