ughhhhhh so tempting for pcvr i wish we'd never abandoned virtualink ports on GPUs so then u could just plug in the one usb c cable and have it just work

I believe you it's not VirtuaLink since you have more knowledge and experience. But it must be somehow related to VL if it's so compatible with it, right?

DP -> USB-C -> DP Alt Mode no worky? I have this adapter on my motherboard to convert normal DP to USB-C DP Alt Mode, but I guess that's not the same as VirtuaLink at a protocol level

You do need 12V for power but the actual signal is DP-alt-mode, NOT VirtuaLink.
VirtuaLink is a dead standard, PSVR 2 on PC would make no economically viable sense if this PC support required anything more complex / expensive than a power adapter. Those Bizlink adapters are $$$

有楽町のコニカミノルタプラネタリアにある VirtuaLinkと呼ばれる白い卵形の3D体験装置。今はカップルの休憩椅子になっていてるが、対面配置のため卵形が見事な集音装置と化していて対面のカップルの会話が綺麗な音響で聞こえる。椅子の向きを少しずらすのが良い？(もともと2人で座る設計でない気が)
