TrueNAS can be a bit sensitive about storage when virtualized. Ideally you'd pass an entire HBA through to the VM. TN can run VMs absolutely no problem itself though, so TrueNAS on metal nixos VM might be a good idea? Unless you want to use Proxmox for other stuff too?

I think a large reason for why he never gets properly virtualized is because he doesn't go to Lyoko often, and production-wise, they didn't want to pay for a 3D model for him that they were barely going to use.
