The latest pedestrian assessment report for the Pune Metro points out the poor state of footpaths around key stations such as Vanaz, Anand Nagar, Ideal Colony, Nal Stop, and Garware College. The study along the Ramwadi to Vanaz Metro route documents broken pavements, food vendor encroachments, and waste on walkways that affect daily movement. Many commuters depend on walking because parking at Pune Metro stations is limited, which makes reliable pedestrian infrastructure important for people who use public transport. The report also highlights unsafe walking conditions from Yoganand Park Housing Society to Ramchandra Mane Chowk, an area with schools, shops, and bus stops. Roads like Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Road, Nanasaheb Sutar Road, Swami Vivekananda Road, and Shripati Sutar Road show congestion, potholes, and missing footpaths that affect last-mile connectivity. The study was shared with Pune Municipal Corporation under the Walk Bus Cycle and Metro initiative, and more than three thousand citizens have already asked PMC to improve these footpaths for safer access to Pune Metro stations. #saudaghar #saudagharscoop #realestate #realestatenews #pune #punekars #punenews #punenews #saudagharnews #PuneMetro #PuneTraffic #PuneNews #PuneCity #PuneUpdates #MetroStations #PuneInfrastructure #FootpathIssues #LastMileConnectivity #WalkabilityReport #PuneMunicipalCorporation #PMC #MahaMetro #PuneCommuters #UrbanDevelopment #CityPlanning #PuneRoads #PublicTransport #VanazStation #NalStop #GarwareCollege #AnandNagar #IdealColony #PuneWalkways
