💧♻️ Demostramos que “Waste Water is not Wasted”
En el evento de finalización del proyecto @walnut_project (Horizon 2020), celebrado en Bruselas, se mostraron los logros alcanzados en economía circular aplicada al agua.
Nuestros compañeros Elena Rojo y Alejandro Saldarriaga presentaron un balance de las pruebas realizadas en el piloto gestionado por @Veolia_Es, donde las algas se utilizaron en los procesos de depuración de aguas residuales industriales 💧 para su posterior aprovechamiento como biofertilizantes para el campo.🌾
Por su parte, Alicia González de @CETAQUA expuso los avances del segundo piloto, centrado en el tratamiento de rechazos del proceso de depuración de aguas residuales urbanas 💧, logrando recuperar nitrógeno para su uso en la agricultura. 🚜
Tras 4 años y medio de investigación, @walnut_project ha alcanzado un gran impacto en el futuro de la agricultura sostenible, a través de:
✅ La recuperación de nutrientes
✅ La gestión circular del agua
