#WatchmanAlert 🛡 | Military 🪖 Families Can't Go One Paycheck Without Standing In 🍞 Breadlines on this Good Sunday.
As the government shutdown continues, all men of God on this blessed Sunday need to adopt a Culture of Preparedness and create a
#PreparednessRevival across America 🇺🇸.
What happened this week, I find to be unbelievable! When you think of the military, you think of individuals — especially men — who would be prepared for most situations. And I believe many probably are when it comes to firearms and ammo, because that always seems to be the focus for most patriots and military types.
But what they’re not focused on, as this government “beta test” shutdown has clearly shown, is any kind of emergency event where their families would have to eat. It exposes that they are not being obedient to the Word of God, even though their motto says “God, Family, Country.” Clearly, they’re missing two out of the three.
“Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise: which having no guide, overseer, or ruler, provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.” — Proverbs 6:6–8 (KJV)
This should be embarrassing for anyone who had to stand in a breadline at a food pantry, hoping to get enough supplies to feed their family. Yet, maybe this moment will finally trigger the Preparedness Revival I’ve been calling for — a wake-up call to realize that “Obedience to God is Preparedness.” ™
The Lord has spoken of it many times — from the wise virgins who stored oil (Matthew 25), to the ant who gathers food, to Joseph who filled storehouses before the famine (Genesis 41). Still, people remain unprepared.
⚠️ The Coming Strategy of Disarmament
This is the perfect example of how easily Americans 🇺🇸 could be disarmed.
All they would have to do is stop the trucks. Within three days, the grocery stores would be empty — shelves bare, lines long, panic spreading.
And then the message would come:
“Turn in your guns for food.”
“Trade your firearms for money.”
That’s how it begins — not by force, but by famine.
“When the black horse rides, a measure of wheat for a penny…” — Revelation 6:6 (KJV)
Those who once trusted in their firepower will hand over their weapons just to feed their children. Because when a man’s belly is empty and his faith is weak, he’ll trade freedom for survival.
This is why preparedness is obedience. Because when you have stored food, water, and wisdom — you cannot be bought, bribed, or broken.
🏛 The Silence of Our Government vs. The Preparedness of Others
I’m adding a link to the article titled “Military Families Seek Out Food Assistance Amid Shutdown Anxiety,” written by The

But the reason none of this surprises me is because Kristi Noem @Sec_Noem
@DHSgov,
@fema and
@Readygov, the
@WhiteHouse, and
@VP @JDVance even
@POTUS @realDonaldTrump have all failed to issue a single public service announcement and national commercial during Preparedness Awareness Month last month.
Not one. Karoline Leavitt
@PressSec had a perfect opportunity at this press conference, but she chose politics instead.
If they truly cared about the citizens of this nation, there should have been a national series of commercials — a coordinated public campaign showing families how to prepare. It should have been propaganda for preparedness, teaching Americans how to secure water, food, power, and community independence before the next crisis hits.
Instead, they stayed silent. No guidance. No leadership. No encouragement.
And while America sleeps, European nations are wide awake.
Countries like Finland, Switzerland, France, and Sweden have begun distributing Preparedness Manuals and Civil Defense Guides to their citizens — teaching them how to survive power outages, cyberattacks, or even war. They are preparing their people for uncertainty while our government tells us to “trust the system.”
The irony? The last time the U.S. ran a national preparedness campaign was in the 1960s, with the old “Duck, Cover, and Roll” nuclear bomb PSAs during the Cold War. That’s how far behind we are.
For over 60 years, we’ve done nothing to teach Americans how to endure. The only campaigns they invest in now are about consumption and compliance — not readiness and resilience.
📖 A Call to a Biblical Culture of Preparedness
It’s time to adopt a Culture of Preparedness — a lifestyle, mindset, and strategy firmly rooted in a biblical worldview that prioritizes spiritual, practical, and physical readiness.
“The prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.”
— Proverbs 27:12 (KJV)
Because preparedness is not fear — it’s faith in action — it's wisdom.
This is reason #11 why I left the Republican Party and became an Independent.
This is why I coined the acronym P.R.I.M.E.D — Prepared, Ready, Immediately to Manage Emergencies Directly — to the best of your God-given ability, without relying on government aid or support during a crisis.
How weak must our economy be if families can’t even afford 30 days of survival — when my Preparedness Challenge is 90 days, with doors closed, no power, and the family emerging healthy, happy, and steadfast in Christ.
Many can’t even make it 3 days.

🔥 The Prophetic Warning
Preparedness is obedience to God.
Disobedience is dependence on Government.
The time is coming when the world will say,
“No man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark.” — Revelation 13:17 (KJV)
It’s time to wake up, store up, train up, and stand up, for the days ahead will test who is truly ready — not just physically, but spiritually.
Because the hour of testing will reveal who trusts in man, and who trusts in God.
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” — Revelation 3:22 (KJV)
