Slower to transition due to resources, but they agree that Wayland is the future for the Linux desktop. MATE is working on a Wayland compositor (Wayfire). Xfce4's Wayland compositor is being written in Rust (xfwl4). Cinnamon say they can make Wayland default as soon as 2028.

To usando void como uma rota de fuga por causa disso o apt do debian tem um problema gigante em ter poder dependencias nada a ver - uma vez tinha tirado o wayland pq eu estava testando o Wayfire, maldito do gerenciador levou meu driver de video da amd 💔💔💔💔

With Wayfire Noctalia Shell it's fairly easy to recreate something like that. The main problem is that there will always something that can be improved or tweaked. There won't be an end for it.
