#year6 have been enjoying the locally set novel #whensecretssetsail and discussing our class reader during #reading @SitaBrahmachari we have so many questions and have all grown fond of Spirit the cat 🐈

Year 7 @Fortismere_Sch have been reading #WhenSecretsSetSail, so it was a joy to have @SitaBrahmachari talking to the whole year group. Our @patronofreading display of Sita's books has vanished after she spent lunchtime chatting to the students! Brilliant!

All I really knew about Ayahs came from old colonialist books like The Secret Garden. I was *so* intrigued by the lost stories brought to life in #WhenSecretsSetSail. A gorgeous modern tale of two London girls, woven with ghosts from the past, & communities we don't always
