To mark CECA’s 30th anniversary, we are proud to launch our CECA *30 Under 30* campaign - celebrating the next generation of talent shaping the future of UK #infrastructure. Across the campaign, we will be highlighting young professionals from across CECA’s membership who are already making a real impact in civil engineering: delivering major projects, developing new skills, championing innovation, and helping to build a stronger, more sustainable industry. Our first profile is Cat Jones of Balfour Beatty plc, an Assistant Engineering Manager within the company’s power business, where she manages design across projects with a combined value of approximately £500 million. Cat is a strong role model for future engineers, acting with integrity and ambition while working to improve the industry for the next generation. She aspires to complete an MBA, achieve Chartered Engineer status, and progress to Director level at Balfour Beatty. CECA’s story over the past 30 years has been built by the people and businesses that deliver, upgrade and maintain the infrastructure the UK relies on. The next 30 years - the future of our industry - will be shaped by talented young professionals like Cat.
