He's built a software writeblocker... basically the same that is available in CAINE, Tsurugi, Paladin Edge and other tools which are used daily for forensic work all over the world.
I don't understand all this negativity. Let's wait to see the published code / project first.

Sure. In classic DFIR it is considered forensically sound to use a writeblocker when creating images of evidence. They prevent modifying data evidence. In mobile forensics you work with exploits to get the data in the first place, e.g. write or modify their state on purpose.

Honey, I work in digital forensics. You can claim ignorance but when your clowns are accessing the hard drive wo a writeblocker, modifying files & creating files it taints media that is inadmissible in any court. Don’t believe me? Look up the forensics analysis THEY paid for 😂😂

Excellent references for sure!

The mantra in training was "2 is 1, 1 is none."
I followed the saying.
I developed robust plans from it.
The writeblocker kit has 1 TC-USB3 USB 3.0 (A to B) cable and it was damaged by security.
The IoT village crew repaired it with ease.
