In today's CIRCLE news
It seems a CIRCLE costs 11 bytes to draw in Boriel's ZXBasic
PRINT a character AT costs 19 bytes
But CIRCLE comes with a 204 byte overhead
So I have saved some memory by using "o"s instead of CIRCLEs.
Thank you for listening to today's CIRCLE news. Bye
Animals now get tired, and you can redistribute/ditch cargo mid-journey if you wish to save their poor legs.

#ZXSpectrum#ZXBasic
Absolutely! However in my original ZXBASIC version it resulted in a 31K bin file that had to be loaded at quite a low address (which I later discovered messed terribly with esxdos) - my C bin file is currently a nice, neat 16K bin file with the option of bank switching if needed
Takes about a minute and a half for Sinclair BASIC to do the price adjustments when you travel from one place to another.
Bit slow for most people. So, probably going to change to ZXBasic for more speed.
Hemos puesto el texto a 64 columnas y mejorado la selección de opciones en el menú. No sé si esto pasará algún día de ser una forma entretenida de aprender #ZXBasic.
huh, did some z80 coding - got carried away by some #ZXSpectrum nostalgia... #zxbasic#assembly (...erm, did some simulator speedup in the middle - we're living in impatient times)
Thank you Jose - So far I have been tested to run- MVP IBM360/Hercules, IBM 1401 Altair basic, PDP11, AtariOS, MacOS (7.5), ZXBasic, HaikuOS, WindowsXP/2000/98, Linux Debian 9/10, Android x86, Ardupilot and ROS
I dont know of any actual suites, just compilers like ZXBASIC and Z88DK (a C compiler for all manner of Z80 based machines).
I use which ever text editor is my current favourite and the command line (which to be fair is how I handle most of my current gen coding too)
