🗣️ União Europeia e Brasil devem melhor aproveitar a bioeconomia da Amazónia🌍 Na semana dedicada à Amazónia, defendi na reunião da Delegação das relações da UE com o Brasil, da qual sou presidente, a importância do diálogo entre o Parlamento Europeu e o Brasil para melhor aproveitar a bioeconomia da Amazónia. Esta região oferece uma oportunidade única para unir proteção ambiental e crescimento económico sustentável. Enfatizei a necessidade de garantir que os pequenos produtores e as comunidades tradicionais beneficiem desta transição, promovendo a cooperação e o acesso equitativo aos mercados, incluíndo o europeu. A Amazónia é um tesouro de biodiversidade e um regulador do clima, e proteger este ecossistema é um imperativo ambiental e social.
