🔥 What an absolute gift it was to present to the EZ Corp Working Parents Group last week! When my friend Scott Durham invited me to share how an attachment-informed approach can transform how we lead—at work and at home—I jumped at the opportunity. I believe that how we Show Up for our teams should reflect how we Show Up for our families: with intention and heart. Getting to spend time in-person with Scott and Dr. Neferiatiti Holt, EZ Corp’s Senior Manager of Belonging—at one of their top-performing Austin stores was the icing on the cake. Dr. Neffie’s radiant energy lit up the room, and Scott’s commitment to leading with connection is clearly making a lasting impact. It was so obvious to me that the pride the Managers and staff, that I met, take in the work they do and the stories they shared with me about the care they have for their customers, that this business is more than transactional. It is relational and growing from the inside out. Success begins and ends with relationships and that is what the message of attachment is all about. I am forever grateful for this experience and can’t thank Scott, Dr. Neffie, and the people I met at more store visit and all the attendees of this event!
