Also recognize that #blackfirstgen students are not a monolith: they come from rural, urban, suburban areas. Some are low income, many are not. Some are immigrants. Find out WHO YOUR STUDENTS ARE.
One of the main takeaways is that it is important to DISAGGREGATE YOUR DATA. find out how many #blackfirstgen students you have. Gather this information from as many sources as possible.
