😓 Today I had a nightmare with Google Chrome! Was using it as usual when suddenly Chrome crashes out of nowhere. Open it up again, and to my horror, all my bookmarks, passwords, and cached data are GONE. 💀 I had no clue what happened, and my C drive is already pretty full, so I figured that might be the issue. After a bit of digging, I found a way to change Chrome’s cache location to another drive (thank goodness for the D drive!). Here’s what worked for me: Right-click the Chrome shortcut and go to Properties. Add this at the end of the Target: --disk-cache-dir="D:\ChromeCache" (you can switch "D" to whatever drive you want). Now, Chrome will store the cache elsewhere, and I’m hoping it won’t crash again. 🙏 As for the lost data, thankfully, Google Sync had my bookmarks, and I was able to recover most of my stuff! But if you’re not syncing, there are tools that might help you restore things. Hope this helps someone avoid my nightmare! 🚨 #Chrome #TechStruggles #LostData #CacheFix #TechCommunity
