高級品の少量生産へと業界全体が傾いていったら、どこかの段階で「作れないもの(あるいはメッチャ値上りするもの)」が出てきそうな気もします。

China was even catching up in traditionally European industries like clockmaking and eroding western market share, and had total monopoly on silk and tea. Hard currencies was flowing from the whole world to China non stop, and China even managed to outproduce and dump opium on India and Britain in merely 20 years after the trade was legalized. China had seemingly unstoppable momentum in every industry coming from the 18th century from its colossal (30% of humanity) and hardworking population.
Until Industrial revolution in Britain changed everything in the West's favor.
