Hello everyone! Before the EP drops I do want to take a moment to talk a little bit about the behind the scenes of the EP… Three years ago I changed my name to SHAD0WBYTE and I wanted to do something interesting with this project… I wanted to tell not only a story but express my energy through my music and my original character Akira Takahashi, also known as SHAD0WBYTE_015… At the time I met two really funny people recently and I was barely able to complete a playable in a month… The playable was what would become DEMISE and there was an idea I had for a track that was always meant to be worked on with someone else as I wanted to combine the my style with someone else and make a track that was an epic end to this work. One of these funny people was @warhawkdubs and he wanted to make something epic as well. Few months later DATA DEMON was born and we decided to release it as it was the only track done at the time and I thought the rest wouldn’t take to long (famous last words lol)… KILL0BYTE was then born out of experimenting with tearout and then growing a liking to it. KILL0BYTE was the first tearout song I made and I just kept improving on it with the other track still spinning in my head… I wanted to create a “good vs evil” track and coming off of making KILL0BYTE I was ready to make something epic but with more character and melodics thrown in… The other funny person @CloudNinjaEDM came in to work on probably the most diverse tune I have ever made that I finally get to show you all DESTINY! Remember the term “Those are my Day One’s”? I’m very extremely happy to say that I get to release the story I wanted to tell with my Day One’s WarHawk and CloudNinja who are now the bestest friends I could ask for TONIGHT!!! To say I’m thankful is beyond an understatement… I thought this EP would never come out as I doubted myself and my work a lot. WarHawk kept pushing me to finish it, CloudNinja helped me sharpen my skills to produce something that I thought wasn’t garbage. Without them this EP wouldn’t be possible. I thank both of them for their contributions to this work and for making one of my dreams come true. If you listen to this EP please do me a favor and go listen to their music as well. They are extremely talented and amazing musicians… I LOVE YOU TWO! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR PICKING ME UP WHEN I THOUGHT I COULDN’T!!!! 🫂🥰❤️ I’m also extremely thankful for the hard work and amazingly beautiful art that @Anies_only and @amaryllis_no has done for this EP!
