The latest update on SynCloudOS, our very own reinterpretation of Apple's excellent CloudOS web architecture:

What's the scoop with SynCloudOS? Here's a video demo showcasing our latest improvements, some backend and some frontend. From MultiSwitch DOM multitasking to the NSE component system, SynCloudOS redefines webapps like you've never seen before.

A sorry state of affairs. Back when it was launched in 2012, iCloud's CloudOS web framework was *the* defacto showcase of how powerful Web Apps could truly be. Nothing else came close!
icloud.com still uses the iOS 15 icons

Dunno what alternate reality you lived in in 2012, but CloudOS was at best *not-too-bad* back then. It was certainly not impressive in any way.

A device manager clone for Linux 😂 Are you having a laugh? Since you're apparently conducting an audit of accomplishments, I've authored academic research that will advance our understanding of human-computer interaction, built a TypeScript framework from first principles that recreates much of the desktop application architecture pioneered by CloudOS, and I'm currently developing an entire Linux distribution. The website you're obsessing over was a six-year-old Wix placeholder that was deliberately taken down while I build something substantially more sophisticated. Perhaps the problem isn't that I failed to explain this. Perhaps it's that your reading comprehension is so catastrophically underdeveloped that any sentence longer than a tweet constitutes an insurmountable intellectual challenge.

Kernel 25.4.0 is 26.4, 26.5 has 25.5.0, this is because vphone cloudOS only goes up to 26.4 kernel for now, would be nice if you credited the project if you used it… github.com/Lakr233/vphone-cl…

SynCloudOS, the backbone of the upcoming Syndromatic website, has made INSANE strides as of late. What started as an obsession with Apple’s 2012 iCloud/CloudOS has turned into a proper web operating environment: appViews, windowedViews, runtime app presentation, NSE.AnimationFX, and the first real pieces of NSE.InterfaceFX. InterfaceFX is especially exciting because it finally lets the live website start matching the level of polish I was aiming for in the Atmo Design PSDs: glossy topbars, tactile buttons, reusable app shells, and a design language that blends modern web responsiveness with the elegance and physicality of classic skeuomorphic software. Journal.app is the big visual proof so far. Leather stitching, a paper notebook surface, a proper notes sidebar, tactile materials, yum. Atmo NSE are finally working their magic. SynCloudOS baby.

Apple released CloudOS firmware images for iOS 26.4 and 26.4.1, none of the images contain vphone600 files. Meaning it is not possible to virtualize these versions
Fully virtualized iPhone with SSH, SEP and kernel debugging running iOS 26.1. 👇

not concept art, these are actual screenshots from the upcoming Syndromatic website. it’s not a desktop OS, more like a desktop-class web environment: app lifecycles, statecharts, window management, the whole shebang (the code for this is insane!) very directly inspired by Apple’s 2012 iCloud's CloudOS, just taken much further.
