✨Say hello to Fabian Lange, Technical Advisor & Special Projects at Dash0! Fabian’s journey in observability started with hands-on performance work at codecentric, and led to co-founding Instana, a platform built to monitor complex, containerized systems at scale. The work gave him a front-row seat to just how complex monitoring could be — and what needed to change. He’s also been part of the OpenTelemetry community from the very beginning, drawn to its promise of open, interoperable tools that work across vendors. That passion for open standards and developer-first tooling is part of what led him to Dash0. In his new role, Fabian is stepping into a flexible position that spans product, engineering and strategy. Whether it’s validating product direction, tackling projects that fall between the cracks, or helping teams move faster with his experience, he’s here to bring momentum where it’s needed most. What brought Fabian to Dash0? A combination of the technical vision, a strong product foundation, and a team he trusted. He’s spent years in observability and saw how hard it can be to retrofit open standards into closed systems. Dash0 stood out by doing it differently — starting from scratch with OpenTelemetry at the core. Fun fact about Fabian: he’s a licensed pilot.
