Those with #ComplexDisabilities in the UK - what do you feel like when you are having to give a ‘history’ (often multiple times) when accessing hospital treatment? Looking for comments I can use in an article.
Have you ever wondered how play sessions can include disabled children?
It was great to be at Sense TouchBase Pears recently, watching a play session and learning about how sensory activities can make sure everyone is included. I was also given a tour of the building to find out more about some of the services that @sensecharity offers to support people with complex disabilities in Selly Oak and across the region.
I'm hugely proud to have Sense Touchbase Pears in the Selly Oak constituency. I spoke with several families who told me that having access to Sense and the services the charity provides has literally been life-changing for them.
I'm extremely grateful to the fantastic team at Sense who offer those life-changing services in the local community and beyond.
