Listening to the LotR soundtrack today with just one pervading thought (because they did it RIGHT)…..
If you’re a composer and you write a boy soprano-esque line, then you’d better get a boy soprano to sing it damn it, not a grown woman.

Been awake since 5:30am ish.. wondering if it’s too early to get out of bed and work on music.
I think I’m just gonna get up and do it. I’ll be insane tired later but if it calls it calls.

Doctors office is playing really dramatic film score sounding music and it is not soothing at all. Like is there suddenly gonna be a big reveal? What’s the bad news? Also some of these string sounds are sus and I can’t turn my brain off.

Pitching/writing music for picture without footage, for a deadline is like driving at 100mph w/a blind fold on while the people in the back seat, shout "You're getting warmer!" w/regards to destination, meanwhile they've not seen the destination either.
