Neo-colonialism disguised as conservancy.
Domestic terrorism in Laikipia; Drone footage shows dozens of livestock killed by Italian land thief Kuki Gallmann's armed militia & KDF renegades stationed in & around the stolen ranch. This is a daily reality for communities subjected to perennial terror by the colonial regime.

Saw L.A. Confidential at the Los Angeles Theater last nite. Fund-raiser for L.A. Conservancy. James Ellroy introduced the film. He's funny. In town for a book tour. Loved the movie. Particularly impressed with Kim Bassinger. And Kevin Spacey. Too bad he was destroyed by lies.

Laikipia conservancies are not just big ranches with animals. Ol Pejeta is larger than 11 of the world’s smallest countries. Tuvalu is looking at Borana Conservancy and thinking, ‘Please stop calling yourself a conservancy, you’re basically a country where rhinos are the citizens

Sleeping Warrior Crater (also known as Sleeping Warrior Hill or Split Crater) is a striking volcanic formation in Kenya’s Great Rift Valley, near Lake Elementaita. From a distance, its eroded hill and crater rim resemble a sleeping Maasai warrior lying on his back, with distinct head, chest, and feet profiles. Aerial views clearly show the crater and signs of past volcanic activity. It lies within Soysambu Conservancy (approx. 48,000 acres), east of Lake Elementaita in the central Rift Valley. The area is part of the UNESCO (@UNESCO) World Heritage-listed Kenya Lake System.
